Due to the school closing, Fall Carnival is rescheduled for November 7th.
Classes will resume Monday, October 27th.

There are many things we can say in regards to this flu season – but we will smile and keep them in our arsenal of rude comments to be expressed only to our most understanding friends.
In the mean time, the students who have been out of class due to illness must make up the work they have missed. Since we watch a lot of videos, my students must check out a DVD of the movie from me and the questions that go with the video. Isn’t technology wonderful!
As for the labs they miss, it will be up to the student to schedule a time afterschool to come to the lab.

Once again 4th and 5th graders will be required to do a science fair projects. 6th graders work as mentors with the lower grades after school. With me having over 100 students, I cannot stress enough the importance of starting the project early and being prepared to work on it at home.
Projects have in the past been due late April early May. Science Fair is uaually in May. I plan on staying after school until 4:30 to give students the opportunity to work on thier projects in the lab. The students will be responsible for their own materials.
There are so many websites out there that will aid you in preparing for a good project. Surf and have fun! If you need me, let me know. Don’t forget to get your project approved.
